Kilometer charge: what will change on July 1st

Brussels, April 24, 2024 – as from Monday, July 1, 2024, new tariffs for the kilometer charge will apply in Flanders and Brussels. This is an index adjustment. Indexation of the kilometer charge in Wallonia on Jan. 1, 2024

The Board of Directors of SOFICO (Société wallonne de financement complémentaire des infrastructures) has approved a  tariff adjustment of the kilometer charge for Heavy Goods Vehicles in Wallonia. It will take effect on Jan. 1, 2024. The index adjustment is calculated based on the August 2023 consumer price index, thus following the price fluctuations of products and services in Belgium.
