The kilometer charge in Belgium
How to pay?
Getting an On Board Unit (OBU)
This device records kilometers traveled and must be activated and placed in the vehicle before entering Belgium (see the toll maps here). It must remain in operation until you leave the country. It is not possible to pay the kilometer charge after having driven.
The OBU can be ordered from one of the designated service providers for kilometer charge and delivered to the address of your choice:
Need an OBU at the last minute?
Viapass has commissioned the national service provider Satellic to install 120 automated distribution points at the border and in Belgium. You can obtain an OBU at these distribution points, and return it when you leave Belgium to recover your warranty.
